Your first accommodation is quietly located about 2 km from the historic town of Vaison-la-Romaine in the north of Provence. This charming house was once built for an officer of Napoleon and renovated over the last 8 years by the artists' couple Aline and Christophe. Aline has personally designed the rooms and put together antiques and decoration for a special Provence feeling. We have rarely seen such unique guest rooms - even the bathrooms are individually designed in every room and with attention to detail.
4 guest rooms are located on different levels in the house, framed by a wild-romantic garden. In the shady courtyard is the summer kitchen (for our guests free to use) with a large table for the daily served breakfast. Alines specialties are Pain Perdu (white bread fried in sweet milk) and homemade jam, of which there are often 8 different varieties. In cool weather, breakfast is served in the cozy dining room.
In the surroundings you will find picturesque walks through olive groves. Also the Roman excavations of the town Vaison-la-Romaine are only a few short minutes away.
The second stop of your individual round trip through Provence lies between the Luberon and Avignon, close to the charming town of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Your accommodation, a former silkworm farmhouse, is surrounded by a beautiful garden with rare mulberry trees and countless cherry trees. The rooms are decorated with Provençal fabrics and furniture very stylish and have modern bathrooms. On the well-kept property are many romantic corners to read a book or to enjoy a chilled rosé.
The large chestnut tree forms the heart of this charming accommodation. 5 individual designed guest rooms enjoy the cozy terrace where breakfast is served during good weather. In your second accommodation, Lina and Torsten look forward to welcoming you. Both are passionate hosts and Torsten is a very skilled chef.
The boutique guest house is very conveniently located, so Avignon is within easy reach. But also other places of interest such as Saint-Rémy-en-Provence or Les Baux are not far away. Use our tailor-made day-trips to discover traditional local markets. Almost every day you'll find one in the closer environment.
The third accommodation on your journey through Southern France is located near Aix-en-Provence at the foot of the impressive Massif Sainte Victoire. The house of our hosts Sophie and Julian is situated on a 5 hectare fenced site, quietly off the road to Aix-en-Provence. Once you have entered the gates to the property, you will not be able to leave this oasis easily again: the large swimming pool, the shaded terraces or a walk through the guest houses own orchard will allow you to relax and enjoy yourself.
With only one double room and one family room (2 connecting rooms), it feels really familiar and personal. Both of the hosts, born in Provence, attach great importance to an environmentally conscious life. In the large garden only natural fertilizers are used, and the self-cultivated fruit is also found every morning on your plate. Besides homemade brioche, there are homemade jams and yoghurt. Sophie and Julian love what they do: preserve the beauty and idyll of their homeland and bring it closer to their guests. After a complete professional change of direction, the two are now exactly where they belong.
The guest house is located 12 minutes from Aix-en-Provence; So it is ideal for city life but quiet sleep.. A day trip to the sea is a great recommendation from here! For the nature lovers among you, a hike in the Massif Sainte Victoire is absolutely necessary - Cézanne and Van Gogh were in love with this mountain massif.
